The status bar is a dynamic element that is displayed to learners at the bottom of the course. It is enabled by default in all newly created courses (except in tile layout). It provides visual feedback on current learning progress, displays open or incomplete content, and supports targeted navigation within the course.

This allows learners to intuitively see how far they have come and what steps they still need to complete. They don't lose track of what they've done and avoid typical mistakes that prevent them from completing the course.
