Your data deserves particular protection. That's why information security is firmly anchored in the DNA of Knowledgeworker—from infrastructure to software development. Knowledgeworker is operated on European infrastructure in data centers of European providers and consistently follows high security and data protection standards.
Additionally, we use selected third-party services, for example for image databases or AI functions—always transparent and controllable. All external services can be deactivated or replaced by our own, customer-operated solutions such as self-hosted language models.

Which data is collected, processed, and stored in Knowledgeworker?
When you use Knowledgeworker, a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR is established between us (chemmedia AG) and you.
Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence
In Knowledgeworker, artificial intelligence is primarily used to support the creation of high-quality e-learning content. In addition to the standard integrated AI services, we also support the integration of customer-owned or preferred large language models, ensuring full control, data protection, and technological sovereignty at all times.
No learner data is processed using AI.

For us, accessibility means enabling learning without barriers—for everyone. With Knowledgeworker Create, we support the creation of inclusive, accessible online courses that promote equal opportunities, meet legal requirements, and reach a broad audience.
Interfaces & Integration
Knowledgeworker integrates flexibly into existing system landscapes. For the learning platform, we support Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing learners to sign in conveniently and securely using existing user accounts. In addition, a standardized Knowledgeworker API is available, primarily enabling the integration of external services and third-party systems and supporting custom integration scenarios.
